The hero love continues coming on July 6 with the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp. Before you head to the theater to see Scott Lang and Hope Pym team up, we want to answer the most pressing question of our times: which member of the Avengers would be the most fun at your summer barbeque? OK, so maybe it’s not the most pressing question, but you definitely thought about it after you dried your eyes and exited Avengers: Infinity War at the start of the blockbuster season, didn’t you? Over the years, characters like Iron Man, Captain America, and the Hulk have started to feel like family. And just like it is with any family, some members are more fun to grill hamburgers and lounge by the pool with than others. The answer can only be answered with thorough research – and luckily, several of your Marvel favorites are available to stream on your Roku devices. Who would you invite to your summer BBQ? Let us know in the comments below! There’s no doubt that Tony Stark knows how to have fun. Unfortunately, he has a little bit too much of it sometimes, and he likes to be the center of attention. Inviting him to your summer bash would be interesting, for sure, but it would also result in party crashers, paparazzi showing up, and your backyard being set on fire after Tony starts showing off with his suit. Like Tony, Scott is a bit of an attention magnet. He would definitely help with the grilling, while also being an expert at entertaining the kids. However, once he starts shrinking and making a giant (literally) clown of himself, you could either end up with traumatized guests or lose him entirely as he heads off into an ant hill to look for a new pet. Natasha is the person you want by your side if you ever have to traverse a dark alley at night. She could probably pretend to be interested in your choice of backyard decor, but when she’s not kicking butt, this former spy is usually super bored by the more mundane things in life. Do you like your backyard? Unless you need demolition done on the cheap, it’s best to lose the green guy’s invitation in the mail — sorry, Bruce. Since Hawkeye actually is a flannel-wearing dad, he’s probably an expert on the summer barbeque circuit. That’s both a blessing and a curse. Clint would be totally fine at your party, but there’s no way he would be a standout guest, because it would all be too normal for him. T’Challa is too cool for your backyard barbeque. That’s just a fact. The King of Wakanda would smile and politely accept a burger, but both of you would know that he had way more important business to attend to than complimenting your lawn chairs. Much like Hawkeye, Doctor Strange has probably been to his share of summer parties, which means this would be nothing new for him. And to make matters worse, you know he would go look at all of the possible outcomes of your barbeque and then return to tell you that at least five versions were way more fun. If you’re looking for an enthusiastic barbeque guest, then you can’t go wrong with Thor. Pretty much everything about Earth excites him, so he would love to listen to your grilling stories, get his dance on when you blast some golden oldies, and eat all of the burgers. Seriously, all of them. Thor doesn’t do anything half-way. And we have a winner! Do you want a guest that will be fun, gracious, and stay behind to help with the clean-up? Then you need to make sure Steve Rogers isn’t busy saving the world the next time you pull out the grill. Steve lost a lot of time while he was frozen, and as a result, he’s a true gentleman with amazing stories that would wow your guests. At the same time, he’s endlessly polite, and would definitely demonstrate his super strength for the kids. When it comes to putting the fun into a barbeque bash, no one can beat Captain America!
