Every week, we publish a list of free movies to watch on The Roku Channel. This week’s list features some of the biggest names in the industry, including Robin Williams, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp and more.

Into The Wild (2007): After graduating from Emory University, top student and athlete Christopher McCandless abandons his possessions, gives his entire $24,000 savings account to charity and hitchhikes to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, he encounters a series of characters that shape his life. Starring Emile Hirsch and Vince Vaughn.

Did you know? Emile Hirsch lost 40 pounds to play his role as Chris McCandless.

Money Train (1995): A vengeful New York transit cop decides to steal a trainload of subway fares; his foster brother, a fellow cop, tries to protect him. Starring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson.

Did you know? Many of the subway scenes were filmed on a 4000 foot long set built to resemble a typical New York subway line.

Stop Loss (2008): A veteran soldier returns from his completed tour of duty in Iraq, only to find his life turned upside down when he is arbitrarily ordered to return to field duty by the Army. Starring Ryan Phillippe, Abbie Cornish, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Channing Tatum.

Did you know? Joseph Gordon Levitt and Channing Tatum have appeared in in three films together: Havoc (2005), Stop-Loss (2008) and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009).

The Angriest Man In Brooklyn (2014): A perpetually angry man is informed he has 90 minutes to live and promptly sets out to reconcile with his family and friends in the short time he has left. Starring Robin Williams, Mila Kunis, and James Earl Jones.

Did you know? Williams (Aladdin), Kunis (Oz the Great and Powerful), and James Earl Jones (The Lion King) have all acted in Disney fairytales.

The Last Airbender (2010): Follows the adventures of Aang, a young successor to a long line of Avatars, who must master all four elements and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water Tribes and the Earth Kingdom. Starring Noah Ringer and Nicola Peltz.

Did you know? Noah Ringer submitted an audition tape performing martial arts with Aang’s signature arrow tattoo painted onto his forehead to Paramount Pictures. This video helped win him the role.

The Tourist (2010): Revolves around Frank, an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. Elise is an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path. Starring Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie.

Did you know? Angelina Jolie admitted that the only reason she agreed to do this movie was because she knew it would be a “quick shoot” in Venice, Italy.
