YouTube TV is now available on Roku players and Roku TVs

YouTube fans, now there's even more YouTube to love on the Roku platform. Today YouTube TV, a cable-free live TV service, is available on Roku players and Roku TVs in the U.S (*see below for details).

Stream live sports, local and national news, and must-see shows the moment they air on YouTube TV. For $35/month after free trial, you get access to live TV from 40+ networks including ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CW, Disney Channel, ESPN, FX, Telemundo and more. Sports and premium networks like SHOWTIME, Shudder, Sundance Now and Fox Soccer Plus are also available for an additional monthly charge.

Some cool YouTube TV features include:

  • Cloud DVR that lets you record as many programs as you want at the same time, without ever running out of storage space
  • "Library" tab that includes new episodes, most watched, recordings, shows, events and more personalized to you
  • "Home" tab with recommendations tailored to you, including top picks, resume watching (easily pick up where you left off on another device when you get home!) and more
  • "Live" tab with a live guide so you can get a sneak-peek at what’s airing now and soon
  • Background playback experience so you never miss the action
  • Ability to share with up to 5 family members in your household. Each family member gets their own login, DVR, and recommendations.
