Memorial Day weekend is a biggie in the film industry, as studios use it to push their latest blockbuster. Instead of taking a risk at the theaters, we've highlighted the top and bottom three films released on Memorial Day weekend ranked by their Rotten Tomatoes score. Thelma & Louise (1991) | Rotten Tomatoes Score: 84% Tired of their current living circumstances, waitress Louise and housewife Thelma set out on a weekend getaway. After Louise shoots a man who tried to rape Thelma, the two find themselves in a full-blown police chase as they try to escape to Mexico.
